In a stunning development sure to excite NHRA fans across the country, reports have confirmed that legendary drag racer John Force will compete in two of the biggest events on the NHRA schedule this May.
Force, a 16-time NHRA Funny Car champion and 22-time championship car owner, will take to the track at the Route 66 Nationals, scheduled for May 15–18, 2025, at Route 66 Raceway in Elwood, Illinois. This iconic event marks one of the sport’s most anticipated annual showdowns, drawing top competitors and passionate fans from around the world.
But the excitement doesn’t end there.
Later in the month, Force will also compete at the New England Nationals, set for May 30–June 1, 2025, at New England Dragway in Epping, New Hampshire. This event has become a beloved staple of the NHRA season, celebrated for its electric atmosphere and fierce competition.
