The Golden State Warriors have officially greenlit a massive $445 million renovation project for Chase Center, set to begin in 2025. The overhaul aims to modernize fan experiences, expand luxury suite offerings, and upgrade key facilities including locker rooms and media zones.
However, the approval comes with a major caveat: construction will take place during the regular NBA season, potentially impacting home games and forcing the Warriors to explore alternate venues for a portion of their 2025–26 schedule.
Warriors president Brandon Schneider called the investment “critical for the future of the franchise,” but acknowledged that the short-term inconvenience is a “necessary trade-off” to keep Chase Center among the league’s elite arenas.
More details, including the project timeline and temporary relocation plans, are expected to be announced later this summer
