ESPN has confirmed that the Milwaukee Bucks’ long-anticipated $337 million renovation project for Fiserv Forum has been officially approved, setting the stage for a major transformation of the Bucks’ home arena in 2025. The initiative, dubbed the “Bucks Territory Expansion,” aims to enhance fan experience with new tech integrations, premium seating, sustainability upgrades, and a dynamic entertainment district surrounding the stadium.
However, the approval comes with significant conditions.
City officials and local stakeholders have attached several stipulations to the deal, including a community investment clause that requires the Bucks organization to fund $25 million toward affordable housing initiatives and public transit upgrades in downtown Milwaukee. In addition, at least 30% of the renovation contracts must go to minority-owned and local businesses.
The Bucks organization expressed full support for the partnership model. “We’re building more than a better arena — we’re building a stronger Milwaukee,” said team president Peter Feigin.
